About our Document Centre
Edinburgh Napier University produces a number of documents to ensure the University is run efficiently, managed correctly, and operates transparently. Many of these University documents are made publicly available in this Document Centre.
The Document Centre includes the following types of documents:
- Strategy: Outlines the University’s long-term goals, vision, and direction either overall or in a specific area. Example: our digital strategy.
- Plan: Specifies the steps, resources, and timelines to meeting specific objectives. Example: our race equality action plan
- Policy: Establishes rules, principles, and standards to guide decision making within the University. Example: our bring your own device policy
- Procedure: Describes the exact processes and actions required to perform something specific. Example: our wireless configuration guide
- Guidance: Provides recommendations and best practice to assist in decision making. Example: Programme Assessment Board guidance
- Information: Contains factual data, details or knowledge intended to inform and educate. Example: our gender pay gap report
